Qualifications

Training will comply with AS 2815.6 for Scientific Diver Certificate of competency requirements

ADAS Part 1 (restricted) Scientific Diver certification

Career opportunities

Prerequisites

  • are at least 18 years of age at the commencement of training;
  • hold a valid certificate of medical fitness to dive, 
  • are able to swim competently;
  • hold a recreational Open Water Diver qualification or equivalent, with at least 10 logged dives
  • understand written and verbal communication in English;
  • have a suitable level of numeracy
  • Hold a current first aid certificate
